Chances of me going to Afghanistan?

Hi, I'm 16 years old and going through the process of joining the army, i will be going to Harrogate in September, after the course I'm going for 2 or 3 Para. I know you can't go on operations untill your atleast 18, I hear we wanna get our troops out of Afghan by 2014 (not sure how true that is). Just wondering if anyone has any idea if I could get sent out there with the Para's as being on a operation has been a dream. Thanks
