How many U.S. troops have died in this war?

Over 7000 and three US Soldiers lost their lives in southern Iraq just today. I hope you don't mean this war is dumb. going to war because middle Easterns wear rags on their head is dumb. Going to war because they knocked down our towers and killed innocent US civilans is what I call imminent revenge.
