I was at an interview recently,at a Rehab Facility, When the interviewer asked me if I could pass a drug test, I told him yes, then he asked me if I was on prescription drugs, and I told him yes, but non-narcotics, he told me If I could name them, and told him I would feel more comfortable if I just gave him a list, instead of blurting them out loud. Then he told me it wouldn't work out, and ended the interview. My question being.....is this grounds of discrimination? Isn't it a little personal to ask someone if they are on prescription drugs. I understand this is a Rehab place, but why would I bring my prescription drugs to work with me? Any advice or answers would be great!

Even after being left for another woman....yes. Yes, I'd want the time I had with my ex. We had two great kids together - and so many fun times. Enlisted tend to have a higher chance, but truly both are about equal for being deployed. I know the Marines used to be manditory that you had 3 6-month tours of Iraq, but now that there is the withdraw that is going down. Honestly, your chances of being shipped of Afghanistan are very low. Very few people are being sent there. Now, i'm not saying you won't get sent there, i'm just saying its unlikely.

People living with autism (my little sister)?

i have a 15yo sister who was diagnosed with mild autism when she was about 4. she has a noticeable speech problem. takes her a second to say something right it sounds as if shes trying to blurt out sentences. likes isolation. at home she does not want to do anything other then watch tv. we always try to get her out but she always declines. im not sure but i think she eats alone at school and reads her books. she does well in school thought. she was in special ed but has been in regular classes for the past 4 years. i really dont know what to expect once she reaches the adult stage of her life. does anyone know adult people with autism living a regular life? i am currently fighting my own battles, debt, emotional, women lol, money etc. and i kind of feel like i have A LOT of pressure on me. my parents plan on buying a duplex so i could live next to my sister and im guessing take care of her. i kind of want to move away ,not leave my family but live my own life with my personal space. not literally right next to my parents and what will be my sis house. i love my sister and if i must be there i will but i just dont know what to expect.

So basically, today i found the courage to tell my mom im pregnant. I called my boyfriend, and he was here in a split second. So many Americans demand the return of our troops, but Afghanistan is not ready for us to leave. They still cannot protect themselves. As is evident of the recent hotel bombing in Kabul. As much as it pains me to say. We are needed there. We fought for our freedom 200+ years ago. We won it. What message do we spread if we leave now. So many countries want what we have. My Friend Has ADHD and I Have a Few Questions?

I just got outta 8th too, and I have ADD. Kinda the same thing but I'm not very hyper. It shouldn't really affect how you socialize very much, but he could have other disorders, other than just ADHD. This is baby number three for us. My mom, with my daughter , said she didnt like the name, Lillian. And I still think of that to this day, and Lily is 9 years old. With my second we named him after his daddy, so he is Ryan Jr. , so she had nothing negative to say about that name. Seven years later with the unplanned conception of my third child, and knowing she would hate the name, I didnt tell her until recently. I was vulerable, for the fact I confided in her that discoveries on my recent sonogram, the baby has a two vessal cord. He looks very healthy, but we are still conserned and doctor says NO EXTRA STRESS!! Then she asked if we had any names picked out, having a heart to heart and feeling free of judgement, I blurted it out...Preston Liam Wilsey!! She was not shy to tell me how much she hated the name, labeling Prestons to be some of the worst people( I will not even dare repeat what she said) and continued on to say, youd better run that by your father. Well, I felt horrible..and the doctor saying I need to be stress free, I am MAJORLY stressed, AND SOOO BOTHERED! When I told my husband his jaw hit the floor!! He said he had more faith my mother then that. That name really "fit" and our family has grown to love that name...our children even talk talk to him by that name. Granted Im only 22 weeks pregnant...Preston was it!!My husbands family is in LOVE with that name too. I have read/am reading through the three trilogies of Carey and love them, especially the arcs about Kushiel's Chosen and the Treason Heir's stories. Does anyone have any reccommendations about equally good, inetresting, intriguing and adult fantasy novels? I'm not opposed to sci-fi. Is there a no retreat mod for Total War Shogun 2?

I usually use the custom battles thing, but I do get annoyed about how fast the battle ends when some of the enemy troops start to retreat shortly after their general dies. Mind you there are some times they stay longer, but not that long. And most of them retreat with 200 out of 250 troops left in their platoon, which is just annoying. So, I'm just curious if anyone made a mod that stops the retreating, I quite enjoy the sound of my troops firing their muskets (I know they are called something else in this game, it's just easier to call them that, lol) but I hate when they can only get off one or two rounds before retreating. Has anyone else felt stupid after telling someone they have ADHD?

Not that it's really surprising but I blurted out in the middle of a conversation that I have ADHD and that I'm trying medication to see if it helps. The two people sitting across from me said they were sure they had ADHD so I guess I thought it was safe to open up to them. They looked at me puzzled and then the one said "I don't need medication, I'm happy the way I am." and that was that. I felt really dumb. The one lady is my friend and she is is in her late 40s. I'm 23. I felt like the undertone was, you don't need the meds, your lazy.. or something like that. It felt weird anyways. Made me wonder though, are they fooling themselves or do the really not need them? My friend that's in her 40's, lets call her Kate. Kate has 2 children, (the other participant at the table was her kid), lives alone, has many of the problems associated with ADHD, has a job at walmart, had her own business but couldn't make it, seems generally unhappy but she has never considered getting help for all of her struggles. She told me she wants to go to school but at her age, her brain just doesn't do learning. Her kid is young, has ADHD and is getting married. She doesn't have an education and doesn't ever plan on getting one. She's extremely fidgety and obviously struggles, but says she likes it that way. Do you think they made a well informed decision to not try medication or that they decided to settle for less in life. I certainly can't handle what my life has become. What's everyone's opinion on this? When do you know when to tell people you have ADHD? Is it better not to? Have people judged you when you did?

I had a crush on my best friend when I was younger. I am just now coming to the conclusion that he was my first love. From my perspective he never really felt the same way about me but then again I never had enough courage to ask him. We talked on the phone for hours at a time, sat together at lunch and hed even make his other friends come sit with us so we could sit together, and we did have off and on flirting. He always wanted to hang out with me, and he included me in everything that he'd do. He would ask my advice on girls, it bothered me but of course I never told him. First off magic and spell cards are the same thing. Originally there were monster, magic, and trap cards. It is now monster, spell, and trap cards. This change was probably due to the fact that there was a Magic the gathering tcg that many people would confuse with yugioh magic cards. So all magic cards if they were ever re-released in newer packs are now spells (magic cards are still playable though). To make your deck better you need to have a total deck count between 40 and 42. The lower the better because it allows you a better chance to draw cards you want or need in different circumstances. Cards that help you search out or draw more cards are cards like sangan and mystic tomato. Sangan is one of the best searchers in the game, tomato on the other hand is good when you are running a deck with a lot of dark monsters. Spell cards that let you draw are allure, gold sarcophagus, and pot of duality. Another rule to make a good deck by is that if a monster does not have an effect then it should be removed. Another general rule for keeping good deck balance is having around 20 monsters, 10 spells, and 10 traps. This is not a strict rule but it is very helpful in whittling down cards. A good deck cheap deck for beginners is a gravekeepers deck. Most of the cards you need can be gotten by buying 2 or 3 Marik decks. Look at other peoples decks on the internet to see combos they use and try and find similar ones with the cards that you have.

What is a good way to end my story?

My story is about a guy who's sister died a long time ago. He was so upset about it that he kept it a secret from everyone he knew. (Except it mentions later in the story that he told his girlfriend.) When he finds out who the killer actually was, he tries to hunt him down and kill him, but eventually gives up and is so full of grief that he locks himself in his room and never comes out. All his friends are wondering what's wrong with him, and start arguing, blaming random people. Finally the girlfriend gets so mad she blurts out about the guy's sister. Everyone is shocked, not knowing he had a sister, and start feeling really guilty. One girl (who has a huge crush on the guy) gets furious and runs away, angry that he never told her anything about it. All the friends decide to team up and find the killer to make their friend feel better. When they eventually do, they find out that the killer actually killed her on accident, and didn't do it on purpose. The killer bursts into tears and explains that he never really meant to hurt anybody. After that, I really don't know how to end this story. Any suggestions?

I admit I don't have a lot of close friends and I met another female around my age range from a website last year in which the host of the webcast show throw annual cruises. We came up with the idea of going together, so for 8mths we formed a friendship, we text, skype, ovvo talk on the phone every form of communication you can think of! This past weekend was the actual cruise we met finally face to face the day before the cruise because I was staying at a hotel near the port..when she saw me face to face she looked at me as if she saw a ghost, she didn't act real friendly like she did online..especially once we boarded the cruise. She would talk down to me like I was stupid, did her own thing most of the time on the boat with no desire to hang with me, barely spoke to me, had all these mood swings for nothing and she wasn't on her period..sometime I would speak to her and she just wouldn't talk to me like wth? She didn't party too tough on the boat and when we finally got into the Bahamas we went to the beach then to Atlantis she had a serious fit that we had to pay 11 bucks to get back to the boat spot..her money was slightly tight..but she was pouting so hard I asked if she was alright she just wouldn't talk to me for nothing...she didn't want to party in the bahamas either and we had lots of opportunity being we met some friendly workers in the bahamas offering to show us around.. 2 days in a row she complained about how the worker on the boat didn't ask for i.d in the club but asked me (mind u I am 3 yrs older than her), then complained about her weight and she isn't fat..im thinking damn whats next. one time I was being playful and light hearted she was laying there getting sun and I said her name ghostly like just being silly she blurts out WHAT DO U WANT.(damn)..being I spent a lot of time alone on the cruise I gradually met people including three other females we sat together for lunch suddenly when she saw me around them she had an interest in socializing with me..suddenly she was the life of the party bouncing all around and when it came to the cruise club room that I frequent throughout the cruise she danced liked an animal..basically she was being something she is not to impress the people I met. When the cruise ended she gave me a hard time with driving me to the airport saying what she have to do for school..i go to school myself so what she was saying was a word..she was complaining about time managment I suggested for her to take me to the airport early, she said no so I admit after days of enduring her nasty ways I flipped and said well damn i just suggested it being your complaining and ****. It was funny how she gave me a hard time after the fact I paid for her gas and let her stay in my hotel room the day before the cruise for FREE being I had an extra bed. After all the headache she end up taking me back..we exchange and tag pics of eachother through this social network but I am done with her..do u think I have reason to be so furious with her?

suffice it to say i am not cut out for the military lifestyle. despite this i have a ton of love and respect for our troops. i was wondering if there are job opportunities on military bases for those who aren't per say in the military. This was a carryover from the previous game. The Isles were the team who were trying to start crud and get payback, not the Pens. It was an Isles player who attempted to sucker punch Talbot from behind when Talbot wasn't looking. And another Isles player decided to hit a Pens player with a dirty hit, punch him while he was injured and continue to smack talk while he was laying on the ice with a trainer trying to help him out. Most of what happened in my opinion was a result of the Isles, not the Pens.

So I have just decided with my parents that for my Sweet 16 our family trip will be to Las Vegas. The cops didn't need to man-handle you like that and if you were so inclined, you could make a formal complaint accusing them of police brutality and racial profiling, but you might want to get some legal support from some kind of agency who can better advise you on that. An agency that advocates for people in your position.

How do i break this really annoying habit?

i have a problem that tends to piss alot of people off. whenever i am excited to say something i just blurt it out usually interrupting the person thats talking. i am not trying to be rude and i am always mad at myself after i do it, but i have no clue how to stop. does anybody have any advice on how i can stop doin this?

Is My OCD Coming Back Or Is It Something Else?

When I was little I realized, after quite sometime, I had OCD. I would have to wash my hands over and over, repeated thoughts over and over and if I didn't I would think out the wrong or a bad thing and take it back then begin repeating the phrase in my head again, I also would have to do certain things or do things a certain way because I thought if I didn't someone would die. Over time it went away and I went back to normal, no one knew. Then as I grew up I formed anxiety, mild depression (undiagnosed proffessionally), an eating disorder (I got rid of it on my own), and now I keep on repeating religious thoughts in my head almost all the time. Like, just an example, say I would think "I love God" over and over, if I stop I would blurt out the opposite of what I really thought, shake my head and repeat it over and over aloud because I know it's not right and it's an opposing thought from out of nowhere; right after I say the phrase. And sometimes when I have a thought, the opposing one forms in my head before I finish my first thought, at the same time. like I'm thinking two things at once.. I don't know what's going on, but I know it's OCD or something worse. My (half) sister is bipolar, people from my dad's side are mentally ill as well, brother has ADD, and my mom is filled with other mental illnesses as well. It runs in our family and I can't tell if it's just OCD or if something else is wrong. I feel like I can't live my life because I have to keep reassuring myself and repeating my thoughts. My sister after looking at symptoms of bipolar/ bipolar depression, thinks that's wrong with me too. I don't know all I know is something's wrong with me but I don't want to get help. I made it go away once, I can do it again. But I'm not sure if it's just history repeating itself or something else is surfacing. Please help me.

I agree that it could lead to that, but I would have to say that the solution is more towards pulling even more out faster (all if possible) than to leave them there. We have no further interests in that particular third world sandpit. There is no real reason to stay (meaning there is no American interest there nor benefit that is anywhere near, or greater than, the costs).

Why are we in Afghanistan for 11 years?

Well they werent really there to fight anyone, they were there mostly to try to rebuild afghanistan's government and economy after they destroyed in trying to get the taliban. Rebuilding a nation takes a lot of time and is a lot harder than just killing a bunch of people. American forces are the best in the world at that.

Help with my grandparents, don't know what to do?

For years my grandma has been a drama queen and piled lies upon lies - she once blurted out in an argument with my mum (she is my dads mum by the way) that she had bowel cancer infront of me and my sister baring in mind we were only young. This turnt out that it wasn't even true? I don't know why they are like this, I know their hearts are most of the time generally in the right place but I had a big fall out with them over a year ago and decided I didn't want them to be a part of my life anymore - i know it sounds selfish and horrible but they can be selfish people. They came down to where we live and during their stay my grandma apologised to me but my grandad never did but i decided life is to short to hold a grudge and they are my family. They live over 2 hours away and they rarely bother to come down to see us - i know they are old but they are capaple to drive and are in good health ect. I just feel they make no effort whatsoever. When i had this big fallout with them i was shocked my dad took their side and didn't stand up to my grandad. I know it's hard because they're his parents but he lets them walk all over him. They call my younger brother James because they don't like the name Jamie and it winds me and my mum up so much - she has pointed it out to them so many times so i know its clearly not a mistake yet my dad will never say anything? I can't really talk to my dad about it because it always ends up in an argument. My mums dad (my other grandad) died 3 years ago this year and he was the most generour, kind hearted and loving man you would ever meet and i would do anything to have him back yet my grandma is constantly moaning about what is wrong with her life, it makes me angry as for her age she is in perfect health and should be happy she is still alive. i really don't know if i want contact with them anymore but just wondering if anyone has any advice - sorry its long and thankyou for taking the time to read it all X
