Who is the King of Country Music?

There are many greats out there but which male country singer should have the marquee to be called the King of Country music? To name a few- Johnny Cash, Conway Twitty, George Jones, Merle Haggard, David Allan Coe, Alan Jackson, George Strait, Garth Brooks, I'm sure there are many many many more candidates out there but who should be called the King of country music?
