How come all of NATO countries are not fighting the Taliban?

Also the European union are not really getting involved with Afghanistan yet England and American are pouring troops in....Surely if the whole UN forces go in it would help speed up the process? Why doesn't Ireland,belgium,france,spain,ETC ect European countries get involved? Terrorism affect all of us. ?�
