How to get excused from high school and community college for american idol?

I plan on trying out for american idol, the only thing that's holding me up though is high school and community college. I'll be taking classes at a community college on Tuesday's and Wenesdays and regular school during all of the week days. Is there any type of excuse I can get for particpating??? I know for sure I can make it to hollywood, from there it just depends on the amount people who like a voice similar to garth brooks...
